YOGA is not a sport, it is not a contest, it is not competitive. You do each pose as best you can, striving towards an ideal that you need not reach. It is in the striving that you do yoga. You will find muscles you did not realize you have. You will find tensions to which you have become so accustomed that you think they are natural. You will find strength and improved health that you have not experienced before."
